Puppy Training Classes - For puppies aged 10-19 weeks

These are blocks of either 4 or 5 weeks of classes (50 minutes) mainly run in a spacious indoor hall with on street parking. During warmer months, the final class will be outdoors at Citidogs in a secure woodland area to practice real life training with lots more space. Some full blocks may run there too.

Puppy Training Classes - For puppies aged 10-19 weeks

I run small classes with a max of 4 puppies, so I can give individual attention to all the owners and puppies and keep things as relaxed as possible. My sessions are not about teaching lots of obedience cues but about teaching the puppy skills and fun cued behaviours that bring attention back to you and give strong foundations for life skills. Family members are welcome but children must be supervised.

We will cover:

Growing Calmness
Relationship building
Strong engagement cues and value with you
Proximity & Orientation - vital for recall and lead walking
Confidence
Disengagement skills, essential when outdoors
Foundations for loose lead walking and recall
Household manners
Play and socialisation
Troubleshooting puppy behaviours e.g. biting, toileting
Preventing unwanted behaviours developing
Enrichment ideas

Each session will be supported by notes and links to relevant videos. A short life whats app group will be set up for the class, for me to send through notes and to provide support throughout the block. You will also get links to a couple of online puppy classes too, free of charge, at the end of the block.

*Vaccination Advice

• Puppies ideally should have completed their primary vaccinations.

• Some schedules (e.g. Lepto 4) mean there may be a longer gap between doses.

• Early, controlled socialisation has big benefits for puppies and a strong role in preventing behaviour struggles so it can be beneficial to come to indoor classes despite not being allowed out but it is entirely up to the owners.

I am comfortable taking puppies who have had their first vaccine and close to their second and are at least 10 weeks (indoor classes only) with the following management:

Puppies should be carried in to avoid outdoor contamination

They will have their own water bowl

They should avoid close contact with other puppies that also might not be fully vaccinated.

Puppy Perfect Start Package

£180 - (classes + a private 1-2-1 session)

If booking puppy classes but would like some help and support before classes, you can book this package which also includes a 45-60 min 1-2-1 in your home before classes start. I can help support crate training, settling, troubleshooting eg toilet training, managing biting, enrichment and early socilisation support.

Pre Puppy Arrival Zoom Call

£25 - 30 minutes

This would be an ideal option if you would like some support and guidance on how to prepare before your puppy arrives, what to buy, set up, tips for potty training and more. I will chat you through what I would recommend and provide you with a puppy PDF including how to start safe socialisation. There is no pressure to book further sessions or I am here as required or can chat through opinions or if puppy classes would suit etc.

Private 1-2-1 Puppy Training

One off session - (no classes booked) 75-90 mins - £85

Package of 3 or 4 sessions 60 mins - £200/£260

This supportive 1-to-1 training is ideal for first-time puppy owners and those looking for more tailored support, or more inclusive with the whole family. These can start as soon as the puppy arrives home or a few weeks in, to help with the initial settling in and troubleshooting etc.

Training and skill building should ideally start before the pups are allowed to go out as the brain is a sponge at this stage. I will guide you on how to socialise your pup in a safe fun way, learn essential training foundations & skills, all of which help sky rocket your relationship. Early help can prevent unwanted behaviours being allowed to develop and help troubleshoot early struggles, all of which are likely to be part of the developmental phase eg biting, toilet training and chewing etc.

It can be a testing and emotional time bringing a new pup into your family and at times overwhelming so investing in some support can really help.
